Have you ever enjoyed the fresh juicy crunch of an apple that you picked yourself? Have you ever made your own blackberry jam or mixed your own blend of dried nuts? Are you interested in planting trees that will provide free food for you and your community? Or have you ever wondered where more food-producing trees can be found? If so, you're in the right place.

Public Harvest is a newly organized nonprofit based in the Eugene/Springfield area of Oregon. We encourage everyone to enjoy the free food that is continually growing on our public lands. Click here for information concerning the location, type, and season of fruit/nut trees throughout the municipal area. We seek to increase such food supplies by planting even more fruit/nut bearing trees on land that is available to the general public. Click here to find out how you can plant a tree of your own.

We think that good food--especially fresh locally grown produce that would otherwise go to waste--should be publicly available and utilized. We are also confident that the more you are involved with the sources of your food, the more you will know, the healthier you will eat, and ultimately the better you will feel. Please explore our site, contact us with any questions or comments, and enjoy the Public Harvest!
